Delicious, full of vitamins and very aesthetic, it conquered the hearts of foodistas, the interest of Instagram and Pinterest, and is now seducing the general public. Its secret: easy and quick recipes, infinite variations, and a healthy but still tasty alternative to the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Among the unending list of smoothie bowls, there is one that gets all the attention: the Acai bowl. This small, indigenous berry is often found around the Amazon River in South America. Like the Goji berry, kale or blueberry, it is considered a « superfood » because of all the health benefits it provides. Packed with antioxydants, vitamins and a lot of other good things, it can help you lose weight, improve your skin and increase your energy.

Just start with acai berries, add a liquid base –almond, soy or cow milk for example – and a solid fruit (banana, strawberries…).
