Overcoming fatigue with essential oils

Feeling exhausted? Why not try essential oils? Here are a few everyday actions to help put a spring back in your step.

Sleeping better

This is the starting point for any winter fitness strategy. Eating a light evening meal, not closing your eyes immediately after switching off your computer or smartphone are important habits to create the right conditions for a good night’s sleep. Increase your chances of dropping off more quickly and enjoying better quality sleep with the formidable relaxing powers of true lavender essential oil. Add few drops to a handkerchief beside your pillow, disperse them in your evening bath or use as a massage, depending on your mood and preference.

Recharging your batteries

It’s hard to keep your energy levels topped up when everyday worries and stresses combine with grey skies and increasingly shorter days. More than any other season, during winter months it is particularly important to avoid fatigue setting in. Energising essential oils such as exotic basil, bergamot or ravintsara are ideal choices for use in ointments or in your bath.
