ULTIMATE WELL-BEING

The truth is, in our hyper-connected, non-stop digital world, there’s no better fast track to ultimate well being than catching an undisturbed night’s sleep. Even so, dream waves always seem to take a backseat to airwaves in our supercharged lives.  Poor sleep habits can lead to weakened immune systems, diminished productivity, a tendency to overeat, diminished libido and mood swings. OK, let’s be honest: who would voluntarily sign up for extra fatigue, overweight, bad sex and the blues? That’s what we thought.

Great sleep shouldn’t be a major luxury - it’s a necessity. That’s why this year we’re celebrating World Sleep Day on march 18th by hitting the snooze button. The plan: Lights out by 10pm with all (yes, all) digital gadgets stowed out of reach, and drifting off in a soothing, quiet environment also known as home sweet bed. A few drops of lavender essential oil always make going to bed that much nicer... Plus which, since when did you need a reason to spend some serious quality time between the sheets?
